Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ cup nut meats

Steps

  1. Combine melted butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and cook together for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, then beat in the egg.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Fold in the nut meats.
  5. Spread batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 300° until done. No pan size or baking time specified on the card.
