Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • 2 cups (1 pt. jar) Miracle Whip
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 8 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 cups cold water

Frosting

  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup evaporated milk

Steps

Cupcakes

  1. Combine Miracle Whip, sugar, and vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add cocoa, baking soda, salt, and flour; mix together.
  3. Add 2 cups cold water and beat well.
  4. Fill cupcake liners and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
  5. Makes approximately 42 cupcakes.

Frosting

  1. Combine all frosting ingredients and beat until smooth and spreadable.
  2. Frost cooled cupcakes.
