Ingredients
Cookie Dough
- 1 cup shortening, heaping
- 1½ cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅔ cup sweet milk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ⅔ teaspoon nutmeg
- Flour until thick (approximately 4–5 cups)
Raisin Filling

Steps
Cookie Dough
- Combine shortening, sugar, eggs, milk, salt, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, and nutmeg. Stir together.
