Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • ⅔ cup Crisco oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour batter into cupcake tins (yields approximately 30 cupcakes).
  3. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
