Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt
  • Candy Kisses (Hershey's), one per cookie

Steps

  1. Cream the butter and peanut butter together.
  2. Gradually add the white and brown sugars, mixing well.
  3. Add the beaten egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Roll dough into balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 375° for approximately 8–13 minutes (exact time partially illegible).
  7. Immediately press a Candy Kiss into the top of each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven.
