Ingredients

  • 3 large cans frozen buttermilk biscuits, cut into quarters
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for shaking bag)
  • ½ cup sugar (for shaking bag)
  • 1 stick (½ cup) margarine or butter, melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Nut meats (optional, placed in bottom of pan)
  • Raisins (optional, dropped between layers of biscuits)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Place biscuit pieces in a bag with ½ teaspoon cinnamon and ½ cup sugar; shake to coat.
  4. Optionally place nut meats in the bottom of a Bundt pan.
  5. Layer the coated biscuit pieces in the Bundt pan, optionally dropping raisins between the layers.
  6. Melt 1 stick of margarine or butter and mix with ¾ cup brown sugar and ¾ teaspoon cinnamon.
  7. Pour the butter-sugar mixture over the biscuits in the pan.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  9. Turn upside down onto a plate and let cool before serving.
